Wright & Partners | Chartered Surveyors & Commerical Property Consultants

Our Services

Professional Services

Wright & Partners has a strong professional base, which is borne out by the fact that two of the firm’s four Partners receive regular appointments from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to act as Arbitrator or Independent Expert in property disputes. Our expertise covers the following principal disciplines:

Valuation

In addition to providing valuation advice in respect of investment and development opportunities we value all types of commercial property on a more formal basis for loan purposes and in accordance with the Charities’ Commission Regulations, ensuring at all times that our valuations are fully compliant with RICS practice.

Rent Review

Our Landlord & Tenant experts in each of our specialist market sectors act for both Landlords and occupiers of commercial property providing advice on all aspects of rent reviews. This includes the referral to Arbitration or Independent expert. A thorough knowledge of rent review procedures and taking disputes to third party is of vital importance in achieving the correct result for a client

Our professionals specialise in their own market sector to ensure they have a breadth of local and national knowledge, coupled with many years experience, allowing our clients to receive informed, professional advice at all time.

Lease Renewal

As well as market awareness, a working knowledge and extensive experience of the commercial provisions of the 1954 Landlord & Tenant Act are also vital in approaching negotiations with either a landlord or tenant. Our professionals have many years experience of providing Expert evidence in Court and other proceedings.

The timing of the serving of either the Section 25 or Section 26 notice is paramount in dealing with these proceedings and enables a well advised party to achieve the best result. A lease renewal situation is also an opportunity to vary the terms of the lease agreement and we ensure that we keep abreast of changes in case law, market practices and legal precedent to ensure the best service to our clients.
